The Beginning

July 9, 2008 at 8:28 pm (Personal)

Okay, so I told a couple people (like one person only, actually – HI LILY) that I would create a blog just to keep them updated on stuff so here it is. Except, the more serious stuff doesn’t come until later. For now, you’re probably just going to hear a lot of stuff about my work =P

So here’s what I wanted to say:

IT FASCINATES ME HOW FIVE-YEAR-OLD KIDS CAN WRITE THEIR NAMES BACKWARDS LIKE IT COSTS THEM NO EFFORT.

I have to stare and hem and haw and try to figure out how exactly does a backwards ‘e’ go. Them? Oh it’s like second nature. And I watch them and go, ‘Wow.’

Anyway. Highlights of the week:

-At waterplay, usually we just let them splash around in about 2-inch high water. Today, my supervisor and I decided to turn on the hose and spray them all. It was awesome. Granted, I got pretty wet from knee down but it was still pretty cool.

-I despair every time I get to go online and visit tokyotosho. Because I realize I have so much to watch. So much for getting some anime watched in the summer? Now I have to space it out during the year because I’ll probably have no time next year at all.

-I was rereading the seventh Harry Potter book again a couple days ago (because I’d totally forgotten everything) and then I despaired again because I remembered Fred had died. And Snape too. =( And then I realized again that I love Hermione. Because I was reading that one part when Ron came back and saved Harry in the forest and she blew up at him, I was reading every line of hers and thinking, ‘Wow, this is exactly what I would’ve said. Same emphasis on the same words. AWESOME.’ And then I was 2 hours in when I realized I should probably stop reading or I’d finish the whole thing and have nothing else to do again ><

-Every Tuesday and Thursday my youngest brother has tennis lessons so I have to drive him over. And since it’s only for an hour and there’s no point in wasting gas going back and forth, I figured my other brother and I would stay and play some tennis. I LOVE TENNIS. I’m pretty rusty in the beginning but I think I’m somewhat good later on. Speaking of tennis, Nadal won over Federer in Wimbledon. I so wish I could’ve watched their match – I heard it was majorly epic. Gah.

I think that’s enough for today. I hope you enjoyed this because my brain is pretty fried from having to deal with 15 five-year-olds at a time.

OMG I WROTE A BIG REPLY HERE AND WORDPRESS ATE IT. *sobs*

    Anyway, hiiii~ :3

You kinda fooled me there, lolol. I thought I was going to read about the serious parts, but now you’ve kept me in suspense D:

What kind of work do you have with the 5 year olds? Is it like daycare? I’ve had to teach 10 year olds before, and they amaze me too. They have the incredible ability of never, ever shutting up.

When you start catching up with anime, start with Nabari. For obvious reasons 8D *coughBLcough*

SNAPE’S DEATH STILL MAKES ME DESPAIR DDD:

Hooray for tennis! Only sport I ever tried was basketball, and since I have the worst shape and am quite tiny, you can guess how it turned out :( But keep going~
